    Laura Mahoney
    Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer

    Laura Mahoney has been teaching yoga since 2000. She attended a certification course as a way to receive continuing education credits for being a Personal Trainer and she loved it, thus began her daily practice of yoga. She has practiced many different styles of yoga and enjoys all of them. She has also expanded her knowledge of the art of yoga by taking several courses over the years. Her love of yoga shines through in her instruction teaching yoga as a tool to help all live a happy and healthy life. She is also an Angel Therapist and brings the Angelic Light and healing to every class.

    Karissa Seeberger
    Yoga Instructor

    Karissa teaches vinyasa flow, emphasizing the importance of the breath leading movement and weaves creative themes into her yoga practice. She often incorporates yoga blocks into the practice to ensure proper form and alignment.

    Yoga is not just asanas (physical movement); it is a lifestyle- one to grow old with, while staying young at heart. As life changes, yoga will be there. The practice might change, but yoga will continue to expand the mind and the heart!

    Yoga became a part of Karissa’s life at a very young age, and to share the gift of yoga as an instructor had been on her list of goals since middle school! In addition to an early start to yoga, she had an even earlier start with martial arts, at six years old. Achieving a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo was another great influence in her life. Martial arts and yoga share physical and spiritual elements including self-discipline, respect, peace, and autonomy.

    Karissa has always had an affinity for the warrior poses in yoga and understands that grace combats the most destructive universal enemy of self-ignorance. Deepening the yoga practice cultivates self-realization and puts you in charge of your life.

    Oriella Steele
    Fitness Instructor and Trainer

    Originally from the Midwest, Mother of 4 amazing kids, fitness fanatic. In 2012, I found myself overweight and a border line diabetic. I know I had to make some changes in my life. I surrounded myself with a support system, joined a gym and made some changes to my diet. In the process, I found a passion for fitness, more energy and a new outlook on life. I am stronger and healthier. I want to share that passion with others, so they can feel their absolute best too. I teach a variety of different class formats, such as Bootcamp, Cardio/strength, Aqua, Cycling, Tabata, and a Stretch Balance and Core class. I am a Certified ISSA Personal Trainer, FITTOUR Certified Group Fitness instructor, CPR/First Aid Certified. In my free time, I enjoy weight lifting, cooking, listening to music and spending time with my family and friends.

    Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer

    My name is Amy and I’ve been a group fitness instructor for over 8 years and a personal trainer for 5. I’ve passionate about helping clients achieve their fitness goals and to understand proper form and technique so they can stay injury free. Some of my favorite things to train clients on are TRX and other equipment that challenges balance and core strength. I teach a variety of class formats that challenge all fitness levels and I enjoy sharing my ideas with members in hopes of showing them fitness can be fun!

    Hollie Parks
    Fitness Instructor and Personal 

    Hi my name is Hollie Parks and I have been a group fitness instructor for five years. I teach a variety of classes including cardio, step, strength training, circuit style, and Barre. I am upbeat and enjoy making classes fun! I pride myself on giving options for all levels of fitness. I enjoy incorporating all sorts of equipment into my classes such as resistance bands and tubes, medicine balls, stability balls, Bosu, and TRX. By changing things up and incorporating different types of equipment you won’t get bored! I attended Penn State where I taught fitness classes to students and faculty. There I also met my husband Oscar. We have 2 children Leila 17, and Dylan 16.

    Richard Anthony Hull

    A graduate of the University of Florida, with a Bachelor’s degree and MBA, Rich retired in 2012 from a banking career. Always a runner, former marathoner, and fitness advocate and practitioner, Rich became certified in Personal Training by AFAA/NASM in 2013 and has worked as a Personal Trainer at the local Y for seven years. Rich is well-familiar with all the major brands of fixed motion fitness equipment, cable equipment, and free weights, as well as floor exercises. His specialties include routines for strength gain, endurance gain, weight loss, working with all ages, especially Seniors, as well as with those dealing with Parkinson’s. Rich’s focus is centered on creating the best workout routines for each individual client, and motivating clients to reach their fitness goals. He is the published author of three books, plays in the rock band Ocean, and teaches guitar.

    Sandra Bellino
    Fitness Instructor

    Sandra Bellino is both a licensed Tai Chi’ Chuan and Zumba instructor. She originally moved to the states from Sao Paulo, Brazil 20 years ago. Sandy studied at the Association Paulista De Tai Chi’Chuan in Brazil with Master Salomon Bernado Vinitsky since 1988 and was also a licensed Acupuncture physician. Sandy has been certified to teach Zumba since 2009. She teaches classes for the active adult crowds as well as Aqua Zumba and Aqua Tai Chi for all ages. She uses Zumba toning classes to enhance rhythm and build strength. Additionally, she enjoys teaching a Zumbatonic class for kids that blends dance fitness routines with fun games and high energy music. She also holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Music.

    Dan Furnare
    Certified Fitness Trainer, Fitness Instructor,
    Senior Fitness Specialist

    Dan Furnare is a Certified Fitness Trainer (CFT) & Specialist in Senior Fitness (SSF) who has coached athletes and fitness clients for over 30 years. As a Certified Fitness Trainer, He promotes the importance of regular strength training at any age. He has developed fitness programs that incorporate all the qualities of a balanced exercise program: Strength, Range of Motion, Flexibility, Balance and Cardiorespiratory Fitness. Also, being Certified in Senior Fitness He is passionate about relaying the message that one can choose a higher quality of life, live longer and healthier through fitness.

    John Bruno
    Certified Personal Trainer

    I started training people in performance related fitness in 1998 in association with participation in martial arts competitions. Since then, I have acquired many certifications, certificates and degrees, evolving into a full time strength and conditioning coach. I spent 12 years training as an NCAA Strength and Conditioning Coach, expanding to performance training not just for martial arts athletes but all sports.

    Now in Sarasota Florida from Erie PA, I get to apply my experience working with injured athletes and my education working with special populations including the elderly with hip, knee, and shoulder replacement as well as continuing with athletes.

    Mary Parrett
    Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer

    Mary has her masters in Health Education and a BS in Health Systems Management
    She is an AFAA certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor since 2009 as well as an IMG Academy certified Ignite 360 Performance Trainer since 2015
    In addition to 11 years of fitness training experience, spent 38 years in geriatric health care management.

    Carmen is a fitness enthusiast that specializes in teaching Tabata, yoga, cycle, pilates, kickboxing and weight training.
    When she is not teaching fitness classes, she is running marathons and walking her dogs.

    Deirdre Didi McKay
    Yoga, Fitness, Meditation, Stretch Instructor

    With over 20 years of experience, Didi is an internationally certified instructor with a 200-hour teacher training in Sadhana Yoga from School Yoga Institute in Peru.

    Her retreat teaching includes Lucia Yoga in Granada Spain and La Muse, in France. She teaches a gentle yet strengthening style, integrating fitness and dance with Kundalini, Hatha and Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga lineages. While a fitness instructor at Crunch Fitness, Didi got certified in Pilates Fusion and senior’s cardio Boom., and currently teaches at Pelican Cove Condominiums, and Shapes Fitness for Women. She has taught at Body Dynamix and the former SRQ Yoga, and Gulf Gate Library (chair yoga).

    A mindset coach for creative women, Didi loves sharing yoga’s benefits including balance and meditation. She has been a *therapeutic, school yoga teacher for Karma Yoga Outreach in Sarasota since 2016. In 2015 she started Yoga on Lido at Sunset, a beach yoga class with a local and international following.

    She’s a former journalist and currently is a children’s book author.
