Gary has nearly 20 years of experience in the fitness and recreation industry. He began his career in the state of Maine as a Sports Director for both the Old Town YMCA and the City of Rockland, Maine. During his time in Maine, Gary has spent time organizing youth and adult programming, was a Varsity Head Coach for high school soccer and softball teams, and was also a radio play-by-play sports commentator covering the University of Maine football and hockey games.
Gary’s undergraduate work was in Exercise Physiology & Recreation at the University of Maine in Orono. He has previous experience serving as a Lifestyle Director for various companies. One such position was with Point Lookout Club, a state-of-the-art corporate fitness center and sports complex, where he had the pleasure of working with and assisting several professional athletes with sports camps, clinics, and leagues. Gary also worked as a Lifestyle Director for WTS International in both Virginia and Tampa. Gary also worked for Equity Lifestyle Properties and had the opportunity to bring together several large ticket shows that catered to thousands of residents in the community.
Gary also has a strong health and wellness background. While living in Rockland, he was the Health Club Director for the Samoset Resort & Golf Course. He is also certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health & Fitness Professional. Gary has an extreme passion for sports. When he's not playing sports such as softball or tennis, he's consistently watching them live or on TV. His love for all sports has landed him several appearances on Sirius Fantasy Sports Radio as a guest analyst.
Emily is from Oviedo, Florida but grew up moving around the country while her father was in the Air Force. She attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where she majored in Sports Management before pursuing her Master’s degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences.
Emily’s former professional endeavors have included interning with the Orlando Magic in the Communications Department, coordinating a University mentoring program for student athletes and elementary school students, and working in the University of Florida Sports Information Department. She also spent over four years at IMG Academy as the Student Events and Activities Coordinator. In this position she was responsible for planning events for the student athletes, year-round. Most recently, she was the Lifestyle Manager at Bellacina by Casey Key.
When she is not at work, she enjoys sports, animals, volunteer work, beach life, family and friends.
